Although the Shell Cottage in the books was in Tinworth, Cornwall, the one in the films was in Pembrokeshire, Wales!
 

Freshwater West beach is stunning, sandy and rocky in places with dunes surrounding it. The sea is only for very experienced swimmers and surfers, so we recommend having a picnic on the sand while enjoying the beautiful views, but staying away from the water. If you’re lucky, you may even catch some surfing competitions.

Although the original Shell Cottage isn’t there anymore, you can still see the distinctive place where it once stood, and find the area where Dobby was buried. There are also several small cottages near the beach, which are lovely to walk around and explore. You can even rent one to stay in the charming area!
 

And Harry Potter is not the only film that used this location, Robin Hood, Their Finest, and the new film Dunkirk all used it for filming! So make sure you have a look.
