Hello lovely users, today we are going to be interviewing a wonderful user of the site so that you can get to know them better. As you can probably tell, they are a member of Gryffindor house and many of you probably recognise her... Today's interview by Adrasteia is with the wonderful Emily Tanner!
 
Adrasteia: On WoP UK who are you and what is your job?

Emily: Heyy I’m Emily Tanner and I am a librarian on WoPUK! I write books about various topics in the Harry Potter universe before having them uploaded to the fabulous Library we have on the site!

Adrasteia: Do you enjoy your job on the site?

Emily: I love my job on the site! Not only is it fun to write the books, but you get to learn SO much whilst doing so, ending up knowledgeable about the most random things!

Adrasteia: How long IRL have you been doing said job?

Emily: I have been doing this job since a week after I joined the site, which was about 8 months ago.

Adrasteia: What are the fun and not so fun parts?

Emily: I’d say the fun part was literally just researching everything that you could possibly put into the book, and gathering all the information together before actually writing it! However, the not so fun thing would be that this job is extremely time-consuming, so its sometimes a bit difficult to keep up with the work.

Adrasteia: Is there anything special that you can do?

Emily: I’d say I’ve got quite the talent for finding new challenges in life! No matter what I do I always seem to strive from doing things that challenge me, even if I don’t mean to challenge myself. I also LOVE to read, I will literally read anywhere, although my favourite place is to go outside and find some fun new place to read, like in the trees or down by the lake.

Adrasteia: Anything you think is important to know about you and that should always be known by any user?

Emily: Something important to know is that I love to help people. Whether you want me to or not, you will not be able to stop me! I honestly just love to be happy and in turn, make other people happy as well! So I wouldn’t attempt to get rid of me when you’re feeling down or need help, I will stop at nothing to help you.
