We were all ecstatic when we heard about the new film coming out, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them! It meant we were getting more from the Harry Potter Universe, which is something that is always welcomed by us Potterheads! But what do we think about this film? Did it live up to our expectations? We talked to people at WoP to find out their thoughts.
What is your opinion on Fantastic Beasts and what rating would you give it?

Fantastic Beasts the film? I really enjoyed it, there were a few moments that I didn't quite agree with, but as a whole I liked it.

Well I really liked it, it was not the best film I seen but the story was a bit confusing so I have to give 8/10.

It is visually a pleasure to watch, with a fairly straightforward plot that allows younger children to also enjoy it without getting lost in the middle. The CGI effects are phenomenal, along with cute and complex creatures which will leave you going Awwwww at them until the end.

I absolutely love Fantastic Beasts and I love Eddie Redmayne as Newt; he is perfect for the role! I'm in love with the creatures, characters, and effects of the movie – it's a beautiful thing to watch. I would rate it 12/10

The film was absolutely marvellous and was definitely worth all I spent at the cinema. Eddie Redmayne portraying Newt Scamander was simply excellent and his mating ritual was beyond hilarious. Though, without a doubt, the very best part was seeing the man behind the face of Gellert Grindlewald, Johnny Depp. I greatly anticipate a following film to see Depp join the wizarding world.
I give it a strong 10/10.

We at the Social Media Team would say that is quite a high rating! Seems Fantastic Beasts has been quite a hit with us Potterheads. With the incredible CGI, fantastic acting and the wonderful sets, you can't help but become fully immersed in this world. It has darkness, light moments, and just the right amount of magic!
