Hello from the SoMe Team! We wanted to inform you guys today on exactly what this job is all about. I, Pear Lynn, have been on the SoMe Team for approximately a month and a half now and I absolutely love it! As some of you may know, I am the only member of WoP UK in my colour, which means we definitely do not have enough members on our team! In this post I am going to tell you all about why I enjoy my job, and I also have an exclusive interview with the SoMe queen herself, Felicity Hathaway!

I love being on the team with Felicity. She’s a very professional and amazing leader, who does an incredible job. Social media and WoP UK would not be the same without her. With Felicity guiding you, you’d feel right at home in your spiceberry colour thanks Gilbert and you’d be a fantastic member of our team. When I first joined the team I honestly was worried that I wouldn’t be good at my job as I’m not a very creative person, or so I like to think. But when Felicity gives me praise for my work and I see my own creations right there in the blog or on Social Media accounts such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, I feel very proud to be on this team, and we want you to feel this way too. The SoMe team isn’t just a job that pays to me, I feel like we’re a little family, using teamwork to persuade more students to come and join WoP UK and live their magical dreams. But as you know, you active users are involved too, such as the competitions that get run and as they are done through social media, this again advertises WoP UK further and more and more people can join our magical community.

Hello Felicity! Thank you for letting me conduct this interview with you? So, what is the SoMe Team all about?
The SoMe team is all about growing the site and the family that we have all created here through the use of social media accounts. Our purpose is to promote the site across our various platforms whether it is Facebook, Twitter or our Instagram account. However, to me it isn't just about the work we can do together... It is about forming a system to support each other whether that is around the site or in our real lives, I know that I am available if anyone ever needs me! But I do still expect work to be done of course.

How long have you been SoMe Leader?
This is going to sound really bad but I don't actually know how long I have been the leader for. I guess time really does fly when you are having fun? I do like to think that I am doing a good job though or I can only hope... XD

It’s actually been since 5th May 2018! I checked in Personnel of WoP UK in the library! Why do you enjoy your job as leader?
I do quite enjoy it, I love seeing the different creative aspects that you are exposed to on the various accounts as well as working alongside others. It can be particularly busy of course but getting to see all the ideas pan out is probably one of my favourite parts. Alongside bringing my team's wonderful suggestion to life!

Who can join the SoMe Team?
Anyone and everyone can join the team! If you have ideas and a can-do attitude, I am always willing to give you a chance. Learning on the go is always possible after all!

Why should people join the SoMe team?
People should join the team because it is a chance to let their creative juices out by creating posts for the accounts or coming up with their own idea for the site blog. I want people to join my team so we can expand our little SoMe family alongside having more content to post across all of our accounts. It is all about making sure that our little community can welcome new people and become home to even more than those who are already here!
