Hello lovely users, today we are going to be interviewing a wonderful user of the site so that you can get to know them better. As you can probably tell, they are a member of Hufflepuff house and many of your may recognise her... Today's interview by Adrasteia is with the amazing Melody Christabelle!
 
Adrasteia: On WoP UK who are you and what is your job?

Melody: Hello there my name is Melody Christabelle and I am a gulp 16-year-old Prefect. I hold the self-named Greo Grep colour. We are the Prefects on the site which means we try and monitor what is going on in topics and make sure that all the rules are being followed. Like the Percy Weasley ... but we are WAY cooler than him. We also do a monthly article called the Patrolling Prefects Article and we take turns in writing it. This is basically where we celebrate the best topic/character/relation and we find out all the gossip on the site. We just love the feeling that people think they have gotten away with stuff, but what they don't realise that around every corner there is a Prefect lurking and listening in. We just don't have any life and are supreme at stalking. Wait ... I didn't say we have no life ...

Adrasteia: Do you enjoy your job on the site?

Melody: Oh I really do. I love telling people the right way to do things so they can enjoy the site more and I love stalking ... I mean, reading. ;) The prefect job involves a fair bit of reading but if you're game for that then join us. Shameless self-promotion there

Adrasteia: How long IRL have you been doing said job?

Melody: How long have I been doing this job? Well, I joined the site as soon as it launched and I was made Prefect in the same week. So actually ... oh my goodness not a whole IRL year already? Surely not?! Yep, I have been a UK Greo Grep for a whole year.

Adrasteia: What are the fun and not so fun parts?

Melody: The fun parts are totally overpowering any negatives to the job. You get to know all the gossip as it is being made, literally. You have a license to stalk ... or rather a Prefect Badge to stalk. You get the awesome colour too. The only downsides I can think of is that sometimes people don't understand that the reason you are telling them something is that you are trying to better the site and their experience of it. Also, those poor prefects have to put up with me ... That's something xD

Adrasteia: Is there anything special that you can do?

Melody: I am Seeker of the Hufflepuff Quidditch Team and I truly feel at home when I am in the air. I can also play the guitar and I can make a very good strawberry tea. Shh, don't knock it until you have tried it.

Adrasteia: Anything you think is important to know about you and that should always be known by any user?

Melody: I may be small and I may have hair to match my colour, but don't ever underestimate me or my fellow Greps. I can fight and prank very well ;)
