Happy Valentines Day Wopians!
The love is well and truly in the air by now and it is no different here on WoP UK as I present a special blog post to you to spread some of the love we have for our teams and classes here on site. This week I have decided to dedicate this blog to our amazing Post Grad classes.

It may be Valentines day irl but on WoP it is April (week 8) which means there is only another 3 weeks before the students will be sitting their exams and some will be graduating.

“But what can I do after Graduation? I will be lost without doing Homework and earning points for my House?” I hear you ask… well do not fear because we have even more new and exciting classes for you to join once you graduate. Perhaps you would like to work as a Healer in St Mungos or maybe even become a Dragonologist? We have a wide variety of classes for you to try out and get that job you have always dreamed of having.

The Post-Grad Classes we have on offer are:

Healers Handbook- Mars Kuiper
Ancient Studies- Damien Ragnar
Magizoology & Dragonology- Felix Faustus
Aurology- Matthew Darcy
Auror Training- Elfie Keller
Wandlore- Gilbert Kerrington
Alchemy- Rosina Kerrington

These classes are brilliant and have a lot of love and care put into them and the lessons that are taught, but don’t let me ramble on much longer why don’t we hear from the genius minds behind the lesson writing and let them tell you exactly why you should join their classes.

Healing Handbook- Mars Kuiper

Q. What is your favourite thing about your job?
A. I love thinking outside the box and pushing boundaries, exploring areas that might be forgotten. How might the St Mungo's hospital environment deal with certain conditions? I get to dig deep and expand on my character as well as teaching others about this great subject.

Q. Which of your lessons is your most favourite or memorable and why?
A. The Dementor Effect. I think I have a draw towards the darker side of things, ha, but this lesson is about coping with the effects of a Dementor attack. Chocolate for a mild attack and the result of a more serious attack. (I'm okay, I promise XD)

Q. What would you say to the users of the site regarding your subject?
A. Healing needs some care before you delve in. A hospital is a hospital, even if it's magical. There is going to be diseases and the danger of injury or even death. All these lessons are done in a hospital environment, namely St. Mungo's Hospital and explores the ins and outs of magical ailments, treatment and even challenges.

Magizoology and Dragonology Training- Felix Faustus

Q. Why did you decide to apply for and teach this subject?
A. I applied for Magizoology and Dragonology Training because I myself, love magical creatures, and so does Felix. I wanted to learn more about the creatures in the magical world and Felix already had a lot of experience after travelling the world prior to working at Hogwarts, and discovering both muggle animals and magical creatures.

Q. Which of your lessons is your favourite or most memorable and why?
A. My favourite Magizoology lesson is Year 2, Week 3, Kelpies, because in this lesson, students get the opportunity to ride a kelpie with me!

Q. What would you say to the users of the site regarding your subject?
A. Magizoology and Dragon Training is a lot of fun to teach, but it can also be very dangerous if the rules are not listened to. There are many 4X/5X creatures that you would come into contact with, and a whole year involves interacting with dragons! Is that good or bad? There's only one way to find out... but this course is much more suited to lovers of creatures and characters with a lot of patience.

Ancient Studies- Damien Ragnar

Q. Why did you decide to apply for and teach this subject?
A. I have always had a fascination of Ancient History, especially the old Egypt - so because I'm that big of a history nerd I decided that I had to teach about my passions.

Q. What is your favourite thing about your job?
A. Sharing my knowledge with students, and make them interested in the ancient world, so they can understand how the ancient world helped to form the world we live in today.

Q. Which of your lessons is your favourite or most memorable and why?
A. That has to be the lesson about curses and revenge, I almost taught them how to summon demons that cursed people, but we don't want the MoM running after me for doing that.

Q. What would you say to the users of the site regarding your subject?
A. If you're into ancient things, such as how the ancient world with the original civilizations, ancient technology and ancient magic, curses and such take a look at the graduate class called Ancient studies. You will learn a lot :D

Aurology- Matthew Darcy

Q. Why did you decide to apply and teach this subject?
A. Colours fascinate me as do people, so when you can find so much about someone and how they act through the use of colour, what more could you want?!

Q. What is your favourite thing about your job?
A. Imparting wisdom, I love it when people take my course and share the homework with me. I love to see your writing... It makes it so much more fun!!

Q. Which of your lessons is your most favourite or memorable and why?
A. Well the one with the glitter.... the paint and the golden prank comes to mind... but well you would have to take the lesson to find out why!!? ;)

Q. What would you say to the users of the site regarding your subject?
A. Aurology is a subject that can be used to develop your character and add an extra layer, if you have even the slightest curiosity you should explore Aurology with me and my class! It is a world on it's own!

Well there you have it my lovely Wopians, if you are already a graduate why not check out these awesome classes and if you are for graduating soon make sure you sign up for all these fantastic subjects. I hope you have all enjoyed this insightful blog post and stay tuned for the next one.

With Love
